Date: Sunday June 21st
Time: 10:30-11:30 am.
"New Church Day" is a celebration of the establishment of the New Church—not the establishment of the local Olivet congregation, but the birth of the New Church as a spiritual movement and a way of understanding the Word. We hold this celebration every year on the Sunday closest to the 19th of June.
Under normal circumstances, our New Church Day celebration consists of a pageant in the church followed by a picnic on the lawn outside. Sadly this year, due to COVID-19, we're unable to gather in the church or on the church grounds. This means that we will not be holding our picnic. But our celebration of New Church Day will press on! The pageant will have to be limited in scope, due to the restrictions on the number of people who can be involved, but we're going to do everything we can to create something engaging and beautiful. And the Lord's messages to us, and His hope for His New Church, can be shared and celebrated no matter what limitations we have to work with.
So join us online, and celebrate the church with us. Click here to learn how to watch the livestreams of our services.
